Organists

The Incorporated Association of Organists is an educational charity, based in the United Kingdom, with over 90 affiliated associations and nearly 6,000 members worldwide. Through the local associations they organise regular events and an annual London Organ Day. The IAO organises an annual residential congress with a different venue each year. The congress offers 4/ 5 days of stimulating recitals, masterclasses and organ visits with many international performers in attendance.

Over forty organisations and denominations involved in church music have come together to form the Churches Initiative In Musical Education (CHIME), an ecumenical initiative supporting the needs of music in the church, and those engaged in it.

The Royal College of Organists. The world's leading institution and professional body for the promotion of organ and choral performance and related studies.

Sarum College Centre for Liturgical Organ Studies offers a syllabus for music ministry, day events and residential courses and teaching facilities for all needs and regional centres in central southern England.

The Newbury & District Organists' Association (NDOA) was formed in 1980. The Association concentrates on West Berkshire and North Hampshire, from Tilehurst in the east to Hungerford and Lambourn in the west. Within this area there are some fine examples of the organ builder's craft, and although the Association is centred on Newbury, visits are made and events organised in the surrounding towns and villages.
